The manufacturing procedure consists of mixing green waste from private sources and collectives with a calcium-magnesium additive to yield a stable product rich in compounds that absorb metal trace elements (MTE) and organic trace compounds such as PCBs. The composting process includes a degradation stage to ensure the hygiene and stability of the organic material in it, and a maturation stage that permits a significant lowering of the moisture content so that it gets down to 40 per cent and ensures sufficient decomposition of the organic material. The compost is sieved prior to use.
