The process involves simultaneously operating contact and contactless interfaces in an operation state of a dual interface of an intelligent portable object. A transition causes modification of resources provided to the object to deprive a chip of the resource. The management of resources is permitted in low power consumption states in which electrical power supply respects limits imposed by power consumption on the contact interface. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a device for complete simultaneous management of limited resources of an intelligent portable object with a dual interface (B) a transmission terminal (C) an intelligent portable object.
