The chart represents contours of free lateral movement regions of an aircraft, within a movement zone, using controlling capacities of the aircraft. The zone is divided into three regions, where region (50) relates to an obstacle to be by-passed, region (52) relates to bands surrounding the obstacles to be by-passed and having a width required for free lateral movement of the aircraft and region (51) relates to the movement regions. An independent claim is also included for a method of obtaining a navigation chart.
