The method involves combining a code with a secret key of a subscriber identity module (SIM) card of a mobile equipment (212) using a determined algorithm that is used for authentication of the equipment in a global system for mobile communication network. A combined identity of the card and code is calculated using the algorithm. The equipment is accessed if the combined identity is compatible with stored combined identity.
