The rack (1) has a set of rectangular shaped vertical posts (3) with variable height and covered on one of their sides by a front panel using an adhesive bonding. The front panel has width large than that of the posts so as to present support zones (9) on both sides of a contact zone provided between the front panel and the posts. The zones are arranged with respect to projecting edges (11) on an opposite side of the vertical post. An independent claim is also included for a process for constructing a furniture rack.
