PSOLUTION: This manual difference document preparation device comprises a manual model input means for inputting a manual model configured of sections extracted from a base text configured of section units, an edited manual input means for inputting an edited manual edited from the manual model, a difference detecting means for detecting a difference between the manual model and the edited manual, an extraction setting accepting means for accepting the setting of a range extracted from the detected difference, a difference section extracting means for extracting the range following the extraction setting as a difference section concerning the detected difference, a layout designation accepting means for accepting the designation of a layout, a layout processing means for arranging the extracted difference section according to the designated layout and an output means for outputting the layout result.
