PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quay crane improved in unloading efficiency.;SOLUTION: This four-reel differential lift-up mechanism of a double forty-feet quay container crane is provided with a motor 10, a reduction gear 20, a high-speed brake 11 for the same, a reel 30 and a reel brake 40. In this device, at least one motor is provided; as the reduction gear to be connected to a motor output side, a planetary differential reduction gear, which is provided with a plurality of high-speed input shaft, low-speed output shaft and differential output shaft, is provided; and the high-speed input shaft is connected to a motor output shaft, and is provided with the high-speed brake; and a differential shaft brake 50, in which four double-rope reels are connected to four low-speed output shafts and each of the reels is provided with a reel brake and which is structured of two or more differential shaft brakes provided in both the differential output shafts. Both the differential shaft brakes control rotation of both the differential output shafts of the planetary differential reduction gear to distribute power to the planetary differential reduction gear for synchronizing work of both the suspension devices or for single suspension device work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
