PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stone guard for a hill side slope, which prevents stones from piling up on the mountain slope and can stepwise absorb energy of the falling stones.;SOLUTION: The stone guard has its lower portion released. The stone guards thus formed are located stepwise on the hill side slope. If the stones are piled up on the slope, the piled stones can trigger a large disaster, and therefore the stones are dropped in a manner consuming the energy of the falling stones.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
