PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact partial discharge measuring device of rotating electrical machine capable of detecting the partial discharge generated in the rotating electrical machine at low cost.;SOLUTION: By installing a receiving antenna 10 in a flame 5, the electromagnetic waves generated due to partial discharge generated can be detected in a stator winding wire 3. On the other hand, the receiving antenna 10 concerned is comprised of a patch antenna equipped with a flat received electrode 102 and a flat grounding electrode 103 arranged at parallel with the received electrode 102 via a dielectric substance 101, so as to make the central frequency determined from the specification of the patch antenna itself to be 1.0-2.5 GHz, and make the bandwidth required to measure the partial discharge to become 5% or less of the mean frequency.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
