PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data stream distribution system capable of quickly distributing data streams while improving distribution quality of the data streams in a case of switching the data streams.;SOLUTION: All data stream receiving terminal R1-R8 which may request reception of the data streams to be distributed from each of data stream distribution terminals G1-G4 are uniquely specified, and the data streams are distributed toward nodes 10-40 connected to the data stream receiving terminals. If each of the data stream receiving terminals requests reception of a data stream, the node connected to the corresponding data stream receiving terminal transmits the requested data stream to the data stream receiving terminal of the request source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
