WASHING METHOD OF PCB-POLLUTED MATTER BY INERT GAS

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and practical method of separating and removing PCB from PCB-polluted matter. PSOLUTION: Inert gas is introduced into a washing vessel 1 containing the PCB-polluted matter 10 at a temperature below the boiling point of PCB; PCB is vaporized in the inert gas; PCB in the inert gas is condensed and separated in a cooling device 2; the separated inert gas is cooled in a second cooler 3 and used as a refrigerant for the cooling device and is heated in a heater 5; and the inert gas is returned into the washing vessel 1 to be used for PCB separation.
