PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water vapor adsorbent material consisting of an organic-inorganic composite complex, having a large adsorption capacity, and easy to produce, an adsorption heat pump and a desiccant air conditioner each using the water vapor adsorbent material.;SOLUTION: The water vapor adsorbent material has bivalent copper cations and anions of trimesic acids as constituents, and consists of coordinate high polymer in which a diffraction peak appears in a diffraction angle (2) of at least 6.70.3, 9.40.3, and 11.60.3 in a powdery X-ray diffraction measuring by Cu-K rays of an X-ray wavelength of 1.5418 .
