PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING Bi12MO20 PRECURSOR AND Bi12MO20 PARTICLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING PHOTO-CONDUCTOR LAYER FOR CONSTITUTING A RADIATION IMAGING PANEL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a photo-conductor layer high in the effect of collecting the formed electric charges, small in electric noise and comprising bismuth oxide type compound oxide.;SOLUTION: A mixed solution of a bismuth salt and a metal alkoxide is mixed together with an aqueous alkali solution to obtain a Bi12MO20 precursor, the resultant Bi12MO20 precursor is subjected to molding processing and the molded Bi12MO20 precursor is subjected to firing processing to produce the photo-conductor layer. Alternatively, the mixed solution of the bismuth salt and the metal alkoxide is mixed together with the aqueous alkali solution to obtain the Bi12MO20 precursor, the resultant Bi12MO20 precursor is subjected to heating processing in an alkaline liquid phase to make a particle or to firing processing to make the particle and the photo-conductor layer is produced by mixing the particle with a binder and applying it on a supporting body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
