SIGNAL SOURCE DIRECTION ESTIMATION METHOD AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal source direction estimation device for accurately obtaining the direction of a signal source whose direction changes.;SOLUTION: This device comprises an SN ratio estimation part 3 for estimating a signal-to-noise ratio according to a reception signal received by a sensor array 1; a direction change rate estimation part 8 for estimating the rate of change in direction of a target signal source based on an estimated direction value obtained by a minimum direction calculation part 7 and on an estimated value in the past; and a pseud-characteristic value calculation part 4a for determining integral time according to the signal frequency of the target signal source, the rate of change, and the signal-to-noise ratio. A CSDM estimation part 5 estimates a cross spectrum density matrix (CSDM) of signals emitted by the target signal source by using the integral time determined by the calculation part 4a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
