PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anomaly detection device for a machine tool that enables precise anomaly detection throughout a system.;SOLUTION: Anomaly detection throughout a system is based on motor-specific moving averages HVc (first to fourth motor-specific moving averages HV1 to HV4) and motor-specific moving standard deviations SVc (first to fourth motor-specific moving standard deviations SV1 to SV4) acquired from power supplies to first to fourth motors 3A to 3D, and also on inter-motor moving averages HVab and inter-motor moving standard deviations SVab acquired from differences between the power supplies to the first to fourth motors 3A to 3D. The use of the motor-specific moving averages HVc and motor-specific moving standard deviations SVc limits the range of detection to loads corresponding to the motors, but the use of the inter-motor moving averages HVab and inter-motor moving standard deviations SVab can detect mutual influence of the loads of the motors to correspondingly increase the precision of detection and extend the range of detection.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
