PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply provide a teaching model utilized for detecting at least the attitude of an object to be worked.;SOLUTION: Three-dimensional shape data of the object to be worked are obtained from CAD or the like (S1). An image of the object as well as a coordinate system set to the three-dimensional shape data are displayed on a display screen and a view point is set (S2, S3, S4). The data of a two-dimensional image of the object viewed from the view point are memorized as the teaching model (S7, S8). The image of the object is rotated around a set axis by a predetermined amount (S11) to obtain the teaching model in which the object is viewed from a plurality of directions. The teaching model can be simply obtained from the CAD data.
