PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ameliorant for exhausted feeling at the time of rising, which improves sleeping qualities, makes a user feel removal of exhausted feeling at the time of rising by internal use, a composition for ameliorating exhausted feeling at the time of rising, and a food and beverage for ameliorating exhausted feeling at the time of rising, containing them. PSOLUTION: The ameliorant for exhausted feeling at the time of rising comprises a component derived from a plant of the genus Withania of the family Solanaceae as an active ingredient. The composition for ameliorating exhausted feeling at the time of rising comprises the ameliorant for exhausted feeling at the time of rising and a recovery agent from fatigue composed of an animal or plant-derived component as an active ingredient. The food and beverage for ameliorating exhausted feeling at the time of rising contains either the ameliorant for exhausted feeling at the time of rising or the composition for ameliorating exhausted feeling at the time of rising.
