METHOD FOR REFORMING CURTAIN WALL OF BUILDING, AND REFORMED CURTAIN WALL OF BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a new curtain wall while leaving an existing curtain wall, and finally remove the existing curtain wall, in the renovation of the curtain wall of a building.;SOLUTION: The curtain wall is renovated as follows: a through-hole 3 is provided in the lower half section of the existing curtain wall 2 in a penetrating state, in accordance with a concrete beam of a building frame 1; a new fastener 4 is arranged in the position of the through-hole 3 in such a manner as to protrude to an indoor side with respect to a surface the existing curtain wall 2; the new curtain wall 5 is installed by fixing a new mullion 51 to the new fastener 4; after that, sections except the lower half section 6 of the existing curtain wall 2 are removed; and a casing material 8 is installed on the lower half section 6 so that interior finishing can be performed. The living environment is maintained by performing reforming work while leaving the existing curtain wall 2, and the reform can be performed without the relocation of the residents.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
