PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for installing a steel column capable of temporarily fixing the steel column in an existing concrete pile member with excellent workability, a joining method for the concrete pile to the steel column using the tool for installing the steel column, and a structure of the joint part of the concrete pile to the steel column.;SOLUTION: This tool 5 for installing the steel column for temporarily fixing the steel column 4 inserted into the existing concrete pile member 3 formed by integrally joining a steel pipe 2 to the head part of the existing concrete pile 1 comprises a receiving metal fitting 6 integrally joined to the steel pipe and a bracket 7 integrally joined to the steel column and locked to the receiving metal fitting for supporting the steel column on the existing concrete pile member. A position adjusting means enabling the bracket to move for adjusting the position of the steel column is fitted to the receiving metal fitting.
