PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a pile head of a pile by relatively easily constructing a foundation structure in an inverted construction method without requiring a special device. PSOLUTION: A steel column 300 is formed by allowing end surfaces of first and second column members 310 and 320 to abut on each other, and the steel column 300 is built up so that the abutting surface is positioned at the pile head upper end of the pile 100. Since both the column members are not substantially restricted in the horizontal direction in the abutting surface of the first column member 310 and the second column member 320, the pile head of the pile 100 and a concrete foundation 200 are not substantially restricted in the horizontal direction, and damage to the pile head can be prevented. Since the steel column 300 is only built up so that the abutting surface of the first and second column members 310 and 320 is positioned in a boundary between the concrete foundation 200 and the pile 100 without conventionally requiring a special device, the foundation structure can be relatively easily constructed, and construction cost is not increased.
