PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to view a desired CM by inquiring of a server about the CM in matching with a condition such as a keyword. PSOLUTION: A CM information server 103 calculates a feature quantity of a commercial message detected from a television broadcast, receives entry of attached information of the commercial message, generates a database where the calculated feature quantity of the commercial message and attached information of the commercial message are made to correspond to each other, searches in the database in response to a searching request of the commercial message by using a keyword transmitted from the user 102 via a network 101 for a key, and transmits the feature quantity of the commercial message to the user 102 via the network. The user 102 calculates the feature quantity of the commercial message detected from the television broadcast and selects the commercial message whose feature quantity is coincident with the feature quantity transmitted from the CM information server 103.
