PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To artificially convert natural water H2O to heavy water D2O.;SOLUTION: Sulfuric acid H2SO4 in a car DC-battery is changed to heavy water based D2SO4by applying an anti-mu neutrino to the car DC-battery, thereby heavy water D2O being generated by electric discharge. That is to say, reaction of anti-mu neutrino νμ* with a hydrogen ion H+, νμ*+H+→μ++n, is carried out, wherein μ+ is a positive muon and n is a neutron. Nextly, H++n→D+ is anticipated in a hydrogen ion flow, wherein D+ is a heavy hydrogen ion. For example, in the case of carrying out the reaction by applying νμ* into the car DC-battery, the reaction of Pb+PbO2+2D2SO4→2PbSO4+2D2O is carried out, wherein Pb is lead, Pb2O is lead dioxide, D2SO4 is heavy water based sulfuric acid, PbSO4 is lead sulfate and D2O is desired heavy water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
