PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric having excellent mechanical strength in addition to ion permeability, gas permeability or liquid permeability, etc., and applicable to various uses. PSOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric contains a thermoplastic resin, a pulp fiber having a melting point or a carbonization temperature higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin, and a non-pulp fiber composed of a resin having a melting point or a carbonization temperature higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin. The cross-point of the pulp fibers, the cross-point of the non-pulp fibers and the cross-point of the pulp fiber and the non-pulp fiber are fixed with the thermoplastic resin having a non-fibrous state.
