PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell for actualizing reaction environment which sufficiently develops superior electrode property, and to provide its using method and its cathode electrode, an electrode reaction utilizing device and its electrode. PSOLUTION: The fuel cell 10 comprises a cathode electrode 1 and an anode electrode 5, and an electrolytic solution 7 held therebetween. The cathode electrode 1 is formed by fixing an enzyme to a porous material such as carbon, and at least part of the cathode electrode 1 has contact with the reactive substrate of a gas phase. To the cathode electrode 1, an electron transmitting mediator is also fixed, preferably in addition to the enzyme.
