PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for re-releasing caught unmatured cuttlefish, good in separation accuracy for its body size and seldom causing both of the scratch and contact peel-off of cuttlefish body surface mucosa and cuttlefish body damage, and to provide cuttlefish catchers for use in the system and the method. PSOLUTION: The system works as follows: Cuttlefish caught by the cuttlefish-catchers 2-1 to 2-10 is gathered via gutters 3-1 to 3-10 for gathering caught cuttlefish at caught cuttlefish-gathering ports 4-1 and 4-2. The cuttlefish thus gathered are conveyed via conveyors 5-1 and 5-2 to a separator 6. The separator 6 functions to separate(sort) the body size of the cuttlefish thus conveyed and the cuttlefish with body size larger than a predetermined level is accommodated in a matured cuttlefish container box 7.
