PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of conducting a dispensing operation for a biopolymer solution in a short time, and capable of reducing a consumed volume of the biopolymer solution, in screening for finding a crystallization condition of the biopolymer.;SOLUTION: This crystallization screening method for the biopolymer has a process for forming liquid drops 46 of a protein solution in a plurality of positions on a surface of a liquid drop forming plate 12, a dispensing process for dispensing the protein solution 48 onto each crystal forming part 22 of a crystallization well plate 14 after sucking the protein solution from the each liquid drop on the surface of the liquid drop forming plate, using a solution dispensing multi-head 10, a process for dispensing respective precipitant 44 different in kinds to the respective crystal forming parts of the crystallization well plate, a process for closing an opening face of the crystallization well plate, and a process for recovering the protein solution for forming the respective liquid drops remained on the surface of the liquid drop forming plate after the solution dispensing process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
