PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield tunnel, in which the adhesive strength of a segment and backfilling fillers is improved and the construction cost of the tunnel can be reduced, and the segment used for the shield tunnel and a shield tunneling method. SOLUTION: In the shield tunnel 1, irregularities 6 are formed to the outer circumferential surface of a lining-body main body 3 composed of each segment S1 by installing flat bars 7 on the external surfaces 5 of these segments S1, and adhesive strength with backfilling fillers 4 filled on the outer circumferential side of the lining-body main body 3 is increased.
