PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving a learning environment by setting the environment appropriate for a participant in a correspondence education system for conducting a correspondence education including cooperative learning .;SOLUTION: The correspondence education system 10 is composed of a server 12, a participant terminal 14, and an instructor terminal 16 connected via a network 18. A server 12 includes a participant classifying means 26 for classifying a participant by the participant's characteristic and conducting instructions appropriate for the participant, an instructor selecting section 28 for selecting an instructor in charge appropriate for the participant, a time frame managing means 30 for notifying the participant of time frame management appropriate for the participant, and a progress managing means 32 for enabling the participant to effectively learn cooperatively according to the participant's progress in learning.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
