PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a tree diagram having a mutual positional relationship along a mutual position relationship after self-organization map learning of a reference vector shown on a spherical self-organization map. PSOLUTION: The spherical self-organization map having a plurality points matching a plurality of reference vectors on a surface is created, and among a plurality of points, two points separated by the shortest distance on the spherical self-organization map are extracted, and representative points of the extracted two points on the spherical self-organization map are derived. The extracted two points are replaced by the representative points, and until a plurality of points are converged to one representative point, control is carried out so that extraction of two points, derivation of the representative points, and replacement are repeatedly performed sequentially for generating tree diagram data showing a process of convergence of a plurality of points to one representative point finally by a tree diagram.
