Microcontroller circuit configuration and remote control receiver operation method

The circuit has an AND logic gate (5) between the clock generator (6) and the microcontroller unit (2) which generates an output signal for the remote control receiver (1). The AND gate switches the clock signal and generates a logic 1 signal on its control input. This 1 is generated for example during the reception of a remote control signal via one or more flip-flops (4). The program routine of the microcontroller (2) stops at a defined point to cancel the oscillation.
