PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card recognizing system for adopting capacity expressions and new capacity expressions in the conventional internal register, and switching and using the plurality of capacity expressions.;SOLUTION: This capacity switching type memory card recognizing system is provided with a host equipment group 1, a memory card group 3 for exchanging information with the host equipment group 1, and a bus 2 for transmitting/receiving data between the host equipment group 1 and the memory card 2.
