PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the strength of a truss and the projection of the eaves edge, and lay roof panels at low cost by use of a gable truss having a structure usable as an exterior material, but no roof beam laid along a direction orthogonal with the spike truss except for a ridge beam. ;SOLUTION: This gable truss 1 is formed so that an inclined beam having the prescribed cross section and length is fitted to the oblique side of a truss frame 2 so as to have an end projected and plywood is attached to both sides of the inclined beam. A structure usable as an exterior material is thereby formed. Then, gable trusses 1 so formed are connected to a ridge beam 14 along a lengthwise direction, and an oblique beam to keep the projection of the eaves edge is fitted to the oblique side of the truss frame 2 of the gable truss 1. For the spike truss 1, no roof beam other than the ridge beam 14 is used, and roof panels are sequentially laid, with the long sides kept in parallel with the ridge beam 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
