PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-ditch cover curved face support part, a curved face support groove former for forming the side-ditch cover curved face support part, and a curved face support groove forming method for forming the side-ditch cover curved face support part using the curved face support groove former, making an existing side-ditch usable as it is without removing it and preventing the looseness of a side-ditch cover. ;SOLUTION: A curved face support groove former 1 is provided with a forming face member with forming faces (2b), 3b forming a side-ditch cover support face that can come in contact with a side-ditch contact face of a side-ditch cover with the side-ditch contact face of curved shape, at a side-ditch cover support groove 22 of an existing side-ditch 21, and a support means for supporting the forming face member in a position of the forming faces (2b), 3b forming the side-ditch cover support face at the side-ditch cover support groove 22.
