The present invention relates to a method for parthenogenetic activation of animal oocytes in vitro by dinitrogen dioxide donors wherein the animal oocytes are treated repeatedly and alternately with substances containing or not containing dinitrogen dioxide donors. This activation can be broadly used in reproduction biotechnologies of farm animals as well as in assisted reproduction in human medicine.
