Bunker installation (1) has central feed belt (3) above which are number of bunkers (5) in a row. Each bunker is provided with a feed-out aperture (7) and a conveyor belt (11) for delivery of fibrous material (9). The conveyor belt forms the base of the bunker and drive devices (13) motivate the conveyor belt. Weighing equipment (15) measures the weight of a part of the length of the conveyor belt with the material located on it and measurement devices (17) measure the speed of the conveyor belt. The bunker installation also has a regulating unit (19) coupled with the weighing equipment, the measurement devices and the drive devices of the feed-out conveyor belts. The regulating unit regulates the feed-out speed of the conveyor belts based on the difference between the upstream and downstream weight determined by the weighing equipment of a single piece of the central feed belt.
