METHOD FOR REHABILITATING PATIENTS WITH CEREBRAL STROKE IN ACUTE AND EARLY RECOVERY PERIOD

The method for rehabilitating the patients with the cerebral stroke in acute and early recovery period provides for medicamentous therapy. In addition, the plantar surface of the metatarsophalangeal joints of toes II or III is pressed by the cushion of the finger producing the protective spinal reflex manifesting by the flexure of the keg in the knee-joint and the hip joint. The leg of the patient is hold in the bent position with accompanying command "Raise the leg!" Then the point in the middle of the anterior surface of the hip is pressed, and the leg is extended with accompanying command "Extend the leg!" Each exercise is repeated 10-20 times, then the 2-minute pause follows, and the exercise is repeated 10-20 times again. The exercises are performed thrice a day for 20 days.
