The method for preventing and treating the early congenital syphilis in the infants comprises the use of benzyl penicillin sodium salt (penicillin G) or the durable derivatives Procaine penicillin or Benzatine penicillin. The duration of the treatment is 14 days in the confirmed diagnosis of the congenital syphilis, 10 days in the suspected diagnosis and 8 days when the diagnosis is less probable.
