A machine for horizontal continuous casting of billets of nonferrous metals and alloys contains a metallic reservoir, a water-cooled jacket and a graphite bushing of crystallizer; a unit, which draws out the billet from the crystallizer; an engine, a brake, a clutch. The clutch, which is located between engine and shaft of drive roll, is made from two moving elements, one of which has rods, and the second - radial grooves.
