The invention relates to a device and method for the measurement of at least one parameter from the group temperature, relative humidity and aerosol content of a carrier gas, in which a volatile fluid is contained. The invention is characterised in that the carrier gas, charged with the volatile fluid is introduced into a measuring path with at least three temperature sensors arranged serially in the direction of flow of the carrier gas, the temperature measured values of the individual temperature sensors are recorded and, from the temperature measured values of the individual temperature sensors and at least one characteristic curve (KF1, KF2, KF3), for the carrier gas, derived thermodynamically or by point measurements, at least one parameter, from the group temperature, relative humidity, and aerosol content of the carrier gas at the outlet end of the measuring run, is calculated.
