Manufacturing ceramics or glass with photoluminescent effect comprises: (a) applying a first layer of enamel compound on a glass support; (b) applying a second vitreous layer; and (c) heating the two layers in an electric furnace at a temperature of 700-900 deg C. An independent claim is included for a ceramics or glass with photoluminescent effect obtained by the method above.
