METHOD FOR FIXING A BUILT-IN UNIT TO A WORKTOP, BUILT-IN UNIT FOR INSERTING INTO A RECEIVING OPENING OF A WORKTOP AND COMBINATION OF A BUILT-IN UNIT AND A WORKTOP COMPRISING A RECEIVING OPENING FOR RECEIVING THE BUILT-IN UNIT

Method for fixing a built-in unit to a worktop, which is provided with a receiving opening that permits the exact positioning of the built-in unit in relation to the receiving opening. The method comprises the following steps: bringing of a fixing element on the built-in unit into contact with a fixing element on the worktop in a first pre-assembly position, in such a way that the fixing element on the built-in unit is supported on the fixing element on the worktop; displacement of the fixing element on the built-in unit in relation to the fixing element on the worktop from the first pre-assembly position into a second pre-assembly position, during which the fixing element on the built-in unit slides along a sliding surface on the fixing element on the worktop; displacement of the fixing element on the built-in unit in relation to the fixing element on the worktop transversally to the sliding surface, into a final assembly position, in which the fixing element on the built-in unit is retained on the fixing element on the worktop.
