PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing sesame oil by grinding roasted sesame into a paste form and then supplying the sesame paste with hot water to extract sesame oil by density difference between water and oil. CONSTITUTION: Sesame which impurities such as soil, dust or the like are removed from is immersed in water for 1 to 2hr, roasted for 15 to 25min and then cooled to 60 to 80deg.C. Then, the cooled sesame is ground into a fine paste form, agitated with hot water in an agitator, precipitated and filtered. The agitating stage comprises four steps of: supplying 50 to 70% by weight of water of 60 to 100deg.C to the agitator and agitating for 30 to 60min; supplying 15 to 25% by weight of water of 60 to 100deg.C thereto and agitating for 30 to 60min; supplying 10 to 20% by weight of water of 60 to 100deg.C thereto and agitating for 10 to 30min; and supplying 5 to 10% by weight of water of 60 to 100deg.C thereto and agitating for 50 to 70min, based on the total weight of the sesame paste.
