PURPOSE: An economical method for producing polymer concrete with good mechanical properties by using recycled pet-based unsaturated polyester resin, thermosetting resin instead of a conventional thermoplastic resin, and recycled aggregate, crushed waste concrete. CONSTITUTION: The polymer concrete composition comprises the components of: 5-30wt.% of recycled pet-based unsaturated polyester resin as a binder; 5-30wt.% of filling material such as potassium bicarbonate(KHCO3) or fly ash for good adhesive power due to increase of viscosity; 40-90wt.% of aggregate, crushed waste concrete substituted for natural aggregate, containing 0.074-5mm size of fine aggregate and/or 5-50mm size of coarse aggregate. The composition is produced by mixing the above materials and curing mixtures at room temperature(17-23deg.C) or 50-200deg.C over 24hrs.
