A divide-add circuit and high resolution DAC(Digital to Analog Converter) using the same are provided to obtain a high resolution above 10 bits, by converting the code of small bit number divided into at least two segments by the digital to analog converter(DAC) and by outputting the whole output by a simple divide-add circuit made of capacitor and switch. A high resolution digital to analog converter using a divide-add circuit comprises DACs(110,120) and divide-add circuits(130). The DACs(110,120) convert an input digital code divided into many segments composed of at least 2 bits to analog code. The divide-add circuits(130) adds the conversion result of the respective DAC from the DAC performing the DA conversion to the segment including LSB of the input digital code among the DAC to the DAC performing the DA conversion to the segment including MSB, and obtains the DA conversion result to the whole input digital code.
