FIELD: oil deposit development, particularly enhanced recovery methods for obtaining hydrocarbons with the use of heat.;SUBSTANCE: method involves producing oil through flat upward production boreholes drilled from production mine tunnel located below or in bed surface; injecting steam in the bed through injection boreholes bored from injection mine tunnel arranged in lower bed zone. The injection boreholes are flat upward and arranged above production boreholes. The steam injection is performed in periodical mode, wherein oil is extracted from production boreholes when steam injection is stopped. The steam injection in production boreholes is stopped when production borehole temperature reaches value close to steam injection temperature value. After bed temperature reduction to value equal to bed temperature before steam injection oil extraction operation is stopped and steam is injected in production boreholes. After steam injection and oil collection system performance check injection and production mine tunnels are filled with grouting mortar and oil deposit is developed from surface.;EFFECT: increased oil output from oil bed due to improved heating of lower bed zone and prevention of heat losses because of stream ingress into production wells.;4 cl, 7 dwg, 1 ex
