The system enables location of the height of the pulse source, especially the emission height and/or the transmission height and/or the directionality, especially the spatial directional profile, of the pulse output caused by the pulse source or emission by determining the deviation between the time of arrival of the signal at the measurement station nearest the pulse source from the arrival time at one or more, preferably at least two, measurement stations not nearest to the pulse source. An independent claim is also included for the following: (A) a method of recording, transmission and analysis of data and information generated by electromagnetic radiation.
