The stopper has a rod (4) shiftable in a receptacle (5) and firmly clamped by a long actuating lever (9) that is pivoted around an axle (10) in a desired position. A high stopping force is accomplished for the rod and a low actuating force is accomplished for the lever such that the receptacle is arranged between the axle and a component (12) of the lever, on which the actuating force is applied.
