Coconut as alternative building material which solves the problem of insufficient gravel reserves of Caribbean islands and can be used as alternative to aluminum as non-load-bearing basic building elements. Coconut fiber is machine cut and pressed in form of bricks of 20x20x50 cms. and watered with cement solution which acts as stabilizer and can be used after drying. l.
