The slide (2) has a precatalytic converter and a main catalytic converter. An inlet exhaust gas conduit (1) forms a connection from combustion engine to slide. An intermediate exhaust gas conduit (3,4) forms a connection between the slide and the precatalytic converter and also between the slide and the main catalytic converter. The slide can simultaneously increase the intermediate conduits as required.
