The method involves effecting an impulse formation by an oscillator arrangement and using even-numbered multiples of signal frequency of the oscillator for the pulse formation. A mixer is used in the arrangement for the formation. A comparator is used in this arrangement for controlling a scanning circuit which is used for the pulse formation. A five fold harmonics is provided to a mixer as an envelope frequency signal (fe).
